Introduction
This quarterly bilingual journal of intercultural reflection/research and with a transdisciplinary approach was founded in 1968. Its scope is local, national and international. It was published four times a year in two editions, namely, French and English.

Goals:
- Information about cultures in the contemporary context as lived realities from the perspectives of people themselves of various cultures.
- Exploring urgent issues and challenges faced by societies and the world, from the perspectives of diverse cultures of the world and seek alternative intercultural responses.
- Invite thinkers, intellectuals, academics, researchers, activists from different countries and cultures who are engaged in exploring alternatives and provided a forum for them to connect and dialogue through publishing their works.
- Methodological approaches:
- Dialogical interculturality: fostering a spirit of dialogue among the authors as well as the readership belonging to different cultural horizons.
- Inter and transdisciplinary that includes not only the different disciplines of social sciences, but also other cultural traditions of knowledge and wisdom, and as well as vernacular and popular knowledge.
